Painter 8 is a sweet app. i just had a mess around with it today, and it feels very good. i've had a look at Painter 7 in the past, but that just freaked me out with all of the tools and stuff. they reckon that Painter 8 is more like Photoshop, and i definitely agree with that. i consider myself a Photoshop veteran () and this new version of Painter felt alot easier to use.

i'm hoping to come to grips with Painter soon - so i can take my work to the 'next level'!

oh yeah, and the fact i've got my new 15" PowerBook... means that i'm stoked!!

edit>> also meant to say that at one point when i was using gouache and chalk, all that messy stuff, i went to touch my PB (who wouldn't) and i actually thought for a second "hold on! you'll get your PB all dirty!" he he. i actually thought i had paint & stuff on my hands.
